Senior Web Designer

We’re looking for an experienced web designer who can create a new look and feel for the Beetronics website and brand. Reporting directly to the founder, you will have all the creative freedom necessary to steer the vision of the new Beetronics website and the company’s online visual identity. We’re not going to limit your vision with narrow design briefs, endless reporting, and long winded research stages.

This is a unique opportunity to own the design vision and strategy for a high-growth startup quickly scaling in international markets. Our ideal candidate is a trailblazer. We prefer to be the first ones to try something new, and show others that it is possible, instead of getting bogged down in multiple meetings and digging through antiquated GA data.

We’re looking for someone who would willingly get involved in every aspect of the company to understand the brand as a whole and convey the quality of our products using excellent design skills.

What you’ll do:

• Produce website prototypes, while liaising with our web design agency
• Create stunning visual assets for social media, landing pages, email campaigns, and digital ad campaigns
• Collaborate with the team on idea generation, design solutions, social media planning
• Apply industry best practices and stay on-top-of the latest technology and strategies to keep the Beetronics brand looking fresh and forward-facing
• Assist in developing and maintaining a pool of freelance designers and/or agencies for project overflow and oversee outsourcing of projects, including design approvals

What you'll bring:

• An incredible design portfolio
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, knowledge of Sketch, Invision, Figma or similar is a plus
• Great communication skills - the ability to express complex ideas clearly and succinctly, especially when collaborating with other teams
• Familiarity with UI/UX work is a plus
• Knowledge of branding systems is a plus
• Knowledge of video editing is a plus
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required
